Milkweed plants (asclepias curassavica) are a flowering plant species, Asclepias. It is native to the American tropics and has a pantropical distribution as an introduced species. With its attractive foliage and flowers, it’s perfect for beds, borders, cottage gardens, meadows and butterfly gardens. If you look carefully, you can see the caterpillar eggs under the leaves!
